Justine is a very passionate human right activist, a believer in the equality of rights and in the emancipation of less privileged in the society. He brings into the team years of experience in the field that encompasses the volatile and dangerous terrain of the nooks and crannies of the Niger Delta region. He has worked with Civil Liberty Organisation as Secretary of Rivers State chapter. He has also worked, and is still working in partnership with various agencies both local and international such as: AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL, UNICEF, Al JAZEERA , SJAI, etc. He is currently the chairman and Executive Director of the organisation
GOODNESS EBIMO JUSTINE
Goodness has a robust background in community relations having served in similar capacity to various organizations. She knows the local environment of the Niger Delta region like the back of her hands. She is currently the Head of the child rights team of the organisation. She is also the deputy chairman of HURSDEF.
Chioma is a seasoned administrator and a financial expert. She has served various organizations in different capacities such as secretary, accountant, finance and general manager. She is currently the Finance director of the organisation.
COMRADE BRIGHT IBUOMO ATONYO
Bright is one of the most highly anticipated human rights activists, he has worked with different firms in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He also looks out ways to enable the less privilege once to achieve their goals and benefit in the society. Currently, he is an expert and proficient administrative officer in the organization.
BARRISTER ADESOLA MAUREEN
Mrs. Adesola Maureen is a strong human right activist who strongly believes in fairness of justice and has passion for gender justice. She has worked as a legal practitioner; she has also practiced with the firm of S. J OFUOLUWA and CO. She also took it as a way of commitment to visit the motherless baby home with her family one in a year; she belongs to (FIDA) Federation of Female lawyer.
She has several legal victories to her credit in the upper and lower Courts, as a gender Defender she strongly advocates against torture, cruel inhuman treatment, domestic violence and child abuse ETC.
She is currently working with the legal team of HURSDEF as a quick response legal officer.
BARRISTER TAMUNOTONYE .A. NGERI
Tonye Ngeri is an astute human right advocate who have passion for rendering selfless, humanitarian and legal services to the less privileged and indigent persons in the society.
He has work in Jamabo & Jamabo Law Firm Port Harcourt, Legal Aid Council Nigeria, Lokoja Kogi State, Wole Akindutire + Co, Port Harcourt, Port Harcourt Refinery Company, Horizon Fibers Nigeria Limited Port Harcourt.
Based on the humble background he had from legal Aid council of Nigeria. He has several legal victories to his credit in the Magistrate High Courts, etc. Presently he is a legal officer in HURSDEF.
SUNDAY NGOZI DELIGHT
Delight Sunday is a human right activist/ Passionate Gender Defender and has worked with Atlas logistic limited and Substrata Oil & Gas as an Account Officer, preparing staff salaries, petty cash and keeping records of all financial activities.
Presently, working with HURSDEF as an account officer, keeping records and receiving cases assign to staffs in the organization.
BARRISTER ALUZU. K. AYIBASIENGHE
Aluzu Ayibaienghe, is a human right advocate who believes on justice and fairness for all citizens in the society, he has work with Timi Ambaiowei & Co, Bayelsa State and C. C Dike & Partners Port Harcourt. He has won several cases in upper and lower Court as a legal Practitioner.
Currently, he his among the Quick response team in HURSDEF that is bringing rapid change in the society, also looking for ways every citizens will enjoy equal rights and privileges.
He has several Legal victories to his credit in the Magistrate High Courts, Courts of Appeals etc. He strongly advocates for a torture free society where everyone will enjoy equal rights and privileges.
BARRISTER PRUDENCE EBEKU
Prudence Ebeku is a Human Rights Defender, a Legal Practitioner strong and passionate about gender Justice. She has worked with Ivory Tower Foundation, an NGO with Sole responsibility of visiting and caring for motherless babies and old people. She is dynamic and she has great love for children, she believes that “Justice is not just for the rich but also for the poor”.
She prefers Alternatives Dispute Resolution Mechanism to Litigation or Violence as she attended the Lagos Multi door Court house (LMDC) on ADR Concept. She will always say “Every dispute must not go to Court”. Presently, she works at HURSDEF as a Volunteer in quick response team in the organization on Gender Justice, Child Rights, Matrimonial Causes and all form of Torture; Emotional, Psychological and Physical Torture. Also she looks forward to a society, free of discrimination against women, protection of child rights, and oppression of the poor.
MRS. LOVINA KINGSLEY .O
Lovina is an energetic accountant; she has worked with Meg Equities Ltd (member of Nigeria stock Exchange as verification officer and center for sustainable peace initiative in Nigeria (NGO) as an Accountant. She has passion for the less – Privilege that earned her an Award during her NYSC in Oyo State. She is currently a Volunteer and Gender/Expert in the organization.
